Features
Everything you need
StreamMaster is built to be simple and fast. Here’s what it actually does.
Save in 1 click
Save your position from the popup or with Ctrl+Shift+S (Cmd+Shift+S on Mac). No account needed.
Automatic saving
While a video plays, the position is saved at an interval you can change (every 30 seconds by default) and every time you pause.
Instant resume
Click a save: the page opens and the video picks up at the saved position. When you come back to a video, a notification also offers to resume it.
Works on most sites
Compatible with sites that use a standard HTML5 video player, like YouTube or Vimeo. Some protected players may not work.
Local data
Your saves stay in your browser. They only go through your Google account if you turn on sync (Premium).
Light or dark theme
Dark theme by default, light theme in one click. Available in 6 languages.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is StreamMaster free?
Yes. The free version lets you save and resume up to 20 videos, with automatic saving, no ads and no account. Premium (€0.99 a month, €4.99 a year or €9.99 for life) adds unlimited saves, sync, categories and profiles, statistics, a site list for automatic saving, and import. If you used StreamMaster before version 2.2, every feature stays free for you.
What happens when I reach 20 videos?
Videos you’ve already saved keep being updated, but no new video is added: delete a save, or go Premium for unlimited saves.
Which sites does StreamMaster work on?
Sites that use a standard HTML5 video player, such as YouTube or Vimeo. Some protected or custom players can prevent resuming, and a video embedded from another site (iframe) may not resume automatically. If a site causes problems, let me know.
How does automatic saving work?
Since version 2.2, it’s on by default on all sites for new installs: the position is saved while the video plays, along with the page’s address and title, every 30 seconds by default (anywhere from 10 to 300 seconds, in the Settings tab), and every time you pause. You can turn it off in the Settings tab. The “Selected sites only” mode limits automatic saving to a list of sites (Premium).
The video doesn’t resume at the right spot
Resuming waits for the video to load, for up to about 50 seconds: an ad or a slow page can delay it. A save is tied to the exact address of the page, so if the site changes the address, resuming can fail. Some players block seeking: in that case, skip to the time shown in the list yourself.
Is my data secure?
Your saves (page address and title, video position) and the time watched per site are stored in your browser and are not sent to the publisher. If you turn on sync (Premium), your saves are copied to your Google account through Chrome sync. Premium payments go through ExtensionPay and Stripe; the data that ExtensionPay stores (installation date and, if you open the payment or login page, a technical identifier, the purchase status and, after a purchase, your email address) is copied to your Google account if Chrome sync is on. No data is sold.
How do I turn on sync?
In the Settings tab, turn on “Chrome Sync” (Premium). Your saves are copied to your Google account and show up on your other computers signed in to Chrome with sync turned on. Chrome limits sync storage: if you have a lot of saves, the oldest ones may stay on the device only.
How do I export or delete my data?
In the Settings tab, under Data, “Export” downloads all your data as a JSON file (free); importing a file is part of Premium. “Clear all data” (version 2.2 and later) deletes your saves, including their synced copy, the “Watch later” list, the history, profiles and categories, and resets the settings to their defaults: automatic saving is therefore switched back on for all sites, and you can turn it off again. Your Premium status is kept. Uninstalling the extension also deletes the local data.
How do I manage or cancel Premium?
In the extension’s Settings tab, the “Subscription” button opens the ExtensionPay page where you can manage or cancel your subscription; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. On another computer, use “Already Premium? Log in”. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal: write to contact@flavienhue.fr.
